Fabrics care & properties guide

We are always extremely appreciative when you chose to make a purchase from us. At Sasha’s Table we try always to be transparent with our customers. Below, we share in more detail what fabrics we use for our table linen, as well as instructions for their care.

Linen-cotton blend

For our summer leaf motifs we’ve chosen a 60-40 linen-cotton blend to give our items very light and vibrant look and feel. Linen is the world’s most sustainable fabric, and the cotton mix makes it a smooth and manageable fabric to maintain.

Our summer leaf range has a fantastic level of absorbency, making it suitable for even the liveliest occasions. Crisp and smooth to the touch, this table linen is also strong, durable and resistant to abrasion. This makes the care process easier and prevents products from deforming. Cotton yarns also add crease-resistance, reducing the need for ironing. For the smoothest finish, we do recommend ironing the items while still damp. Items should be machine washed at 40 degrees and can be tumble dried on medium before ironing.

½ Panama cotton

For our summer waves line we’ve chosen ½ Panama cotton. Our cotton fabric is denser than the linen blend. Fewer loose spaces in between the yarns make it smooth to the touch, and equally suitable for either indoor or outdoor dining. The items can be machine washed at 40 degrees, and both tumble dried and ironed on high.

Regardless of which fabric you choose, we would strongly recommend avoiding acids and bleaches for cleaning. These tend to loosen the linen and cotton fibers and will cause deformation and change of colour of your product.
